Week 9 the Bucs head to the Kansas City to face the “slump buster”.
Injuries
The Bucs are banged up at skill positions RB and WR. Stovall (Hamstring) is doubtful, Hillard (Head) is questionable and Galloway (Hamstring) still have him listed as questionable. Askew (Hamstring) is doubtful and Dunn (Back) is questionable. After lasts week performance, I wouldn’t expect injuries to hamper the performance against the Chiefs.
Fantasy
The Chiefs are 31st in total defense, with Dunn’s sore hamstring look for Graham to have a big day. Although, some of Garcia’s weapons are hurt, expect him to have a solid day especially with the bench and Griese waiting on the sidelines. Look at Tampa’s defense as an option to start. With no running game, they should get to the Thigpen and make it a long game for the young quarterback. If you want to take a chance on someone, look no further than Galloway. He’s getting back to form and available in most leagues.
Picking the Points
Tampa is giving up 9, which seems like a lot for a team that managed only 3 field goals last week or 9pts. This is a “slump buster”, so the pick is Tampa -9. Plus the Bucs want to go into the bye on a high note.
I’m 0-1 vs. the spread, so any betting is on you, don’t cry to me if lose. The value on the mortgage of your house isn’t worth much right now anyways.
