After week 10 things are a whole lot tighter for the NFC playoff race. Currently, the Bucs are tied with 2 teams for Wild Card spots and 3 other good teams are only 1 game behind. 7 weeks to go and the Bucs better start playing each game like it’s a playoff game or they can kiss the post season goodbye. I’m thinking at best they finish 4-3 down the stretch and I’m not sure 10-6 will put you in the playoffs this year. The Bucs have an excellent opportunity with the Vikings this weekend to put some ground between another team in the hunt.  If Kiffin is such a defensive guru, 2 weeks should be plenty of time to put something in place to slow down Peterson; but after watching the Chiefs run on Tampa’s defensive I wouldn’t hold my breath, because the Vikings are much better on the offensive line and Peterson is a stud at RB. The Cowboy loss will also come back to haunt the Bucs as well, because they are going to get healthy and make a run too, albeit one less game to make up.

I don’t see the Bucs making the playoffs, unless the intensity is turned up. Let me know what you think Buc fans.
