NFC South Will Rise

The folks down here in Florida will like that south will rise shit. Quite a few fools down here think the Civil War isn’t over. I could go on all day about Florida’s finest, but let’s just stick to football.

The NFC South is probably the toughest division in the NFC and just may be the toughest of all the NFL. I’m sure many might disagree, but I think 3 teams will make to the playoffs out of the NFC South and 1 of those teams will be a serious contender to win it all.

Atlanta Falcons are for real and I don’t see a softmore slump happening for QB Matt Ryan. The Falcons also went out and acquired TE Tony Gonzalez and let’s face it,  his window of winning it all is closing fast, so he’s going to bring it every week. Gonzalez just made Roddy White that much better too and last season’s 88 reception, 1382 yards and 7 TD’s was no joke. But key to the season is Michael Turner. He was living in LaDainian Tomlinson’s shadow for a while, but not anymore. He busted last season for 1699 yards and I think he’ll beat Adrian Peterson out as the top RB in the league this year.

Jump on the wagon early and get your Falcon’s gear now.

Perdition: 10 – 6

The Carolina Panthers running back tandem of DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart is one of the best in the NFL. Jake Delhomme might have one of the easier QB job in the NFL, he just needs to hand the ball off and watch the offensive line wear down the opposition. Delhomme also has Steve Smith to throw the ball to and I don’t see Smith slowing down anytime soon.

If you order your gear now, you can wash a few times so it looks like you’ve been a fan for a while.

Prediction: 9 – 7

New Orleans Saints v Oakland Raiders

The New Orleans Saints are the cream of the NFC South. Drew Brees and his mole can up 15 yards short of breaking Dan Marino’s passing record for a season. If Marques Colston and Reggie Bush can stay healthy for a complete season, Brees will probably break the record the this season. That’s a mighty big “if” though, but Brees has enough weapons to make it happen. The Saints have made some upgrades on defense, so if defense can hold opponents under 26 points, their offense should win them all the games they need. The Saints will start rolling from week 1 against the Lions and will continue all the way to the Superbowl.

It’s time to take the bags off, put the S on the Aints and get your Saints gear now.

Prediction: 11 – 5

The Bucs are in transition and some disarry. The offense coordinator was just fired 10 days before season starts.  Last year’s defense back’s coach is this year’s head coach and he’s a complete rookie. The defense is younger, less experienced, not very deep and the scheme is new. The Bucs also play one of the toughest schedules in all of the NFL, including a game in London, England against the Patriots. This Ocotober 25th game will be a nice scary warmup for Halloween. If that’s not enough, the next game is against the Packers and the Bucs are going to wear the orange throwback jerseys from 1976. WTF is that all about. It was straight dude who came up with this idea, because even I know that Packer’s green and Buc’s orange clashes worse than Ricker Z and straight answer. Buc fan is laying low already and the season hasn’t even started. Flag display is low, jerseys are being covered by jackets in 91 degree weather, Buccaneer car magnets have ceased to exist.

Prediction: 3 – 13

Either you’re a fan or not, so remember “Anyone can watch. True Fans Gear Up”, so go get the gear.
