Talk about no respect, the Buccaneers are 15 dogs in Sunday’s game. But scoreboard doesn’t lie and the Bucs haven’t earned any respect and Vegas agrees.

The Bucs were getting 7 points last week against the Redskins and thought the Redskins would cover, but alas the Redskins are even shittier than I thought and the Bucs covered, so I’m 3 – 1 now vs the Bucs spread. This week’s spread is a fat juicy 15 points, it’s like a big 1 lb burger cooked to perfection and just waiting for you devour. (Brian, that’s a big burger, are you sure you can handle it?) When something looks to good to be true, it probably is. It’s like when a ridiculously hot chick is chatting you up and upon further review it has an Adam’s Apple, which probably means it has a cock too. Or when you go on a job interview and the pay is excellent, the benefits rock, you like the hiring manager, but the job is located somewhere in Africa or even worse Nebraska. The point is the spread is begging you to take the Bucs +15. I’m here to tell  you don’t do it.

Take the Eagles -15.

It doesn’t matter if corn on the Kolb or McNabb starts that offense is going to roll. The only time that offense will slow down is when Vick steps on the field and attempts to drop back and pass. The Bucs looked good on defense last Sunday, but the Redskins might be the second worst team in the NFL, right in front of Bucs. The Bucs defense is going to get worked like Tijuana hooker on Navy payday.

The Eagles are average 31.3 points per game and that’s second only the Saints’ 36.0. The offense is ranked 7th overall. Even after playing the lowly Redskins the Bucs are still second to last in team defense. The Eagles’ offense vs the Bucs’ defense is the good part, because the Eagles’ defense is lights out.

The Eagles have the 3rd ranked defense in the NFL. The Bucs sport the 27th ranked offense. It’s a bunch of men playing against a boys. We saw what happened when the Bucs played the Giants. Josh Johnson better have his head on a swivel come Sunday, because the Eagles will bring it all day.

Simply put the Bucs just don’t have the talent to hang, son. Don’t be tempted by the +16 points. Use protection and better yet just obstain. Fantasy is the word that should come to mind.

Don’t touch the Bucs, period.

Eagles are obviously a different story. My guess is Kolb gets his last start and McNabb comes back the following week vs the Raiders, so if  have Kolb he should put up some numbers. DeSean Jackson is the man and it’s a safe bet he’ll blow up against the Bucs too. Celek gets the nod and green Akers too. The Eagles’ defense will be top D this week in fantasy world.

I hope the Bucs make a game of it and get a little respect from everyone including me.
