This week is looking like one of the few chances left for the Bucs to get a victory. Outside of the Dolphins in week 10 and the Panthers again in week 13, the schedule is brutal. I’m not saying there won’t be an upset somewhere in there, because one of those teams is going to take the Bucs lightly, not practice as hard or come in as focused and give one to the Bucs, but if the all the remaining teams play to their respective potential it’s looking very bleak for the Bucs. The only guarantee I have is the Bucs will NOT lose in week 8, I promise.
The Bucs are only 3 points dogs this week against the Carolina Panthers, which says more about the Panthers than the Bucs. I bounced back last week in my predictions vs the spread when the Bucs didn’t come close to covering the 15 points against the Eagles and I’m now 3 – 1 vs the Bucs spread. I think this spread and game are both curious and I’ll give my thoughts on both on my next post.
Below is the remaining schedule for the Bucs after week 6.
