Since the playoffs are out of question for the Bucs, I need to think of ways to keep the season interesting and betting on a few of the games is one way to keep your enthusiasm up when your team blows. Below are few of the more interesting match ups in week 11.

The Mismatch

Saints vs Bucs

I need to look no further than my own backyard for this one. The Saints are on top of the NFL and the Bucs are fighting for the #1 overall pick in the 2010 draft. The Saints are giving up 11.5 and that seems low to me. The Bucs have covered easily the last weeks vs the Dolphins and Packers, but the Saints may score close to 40 points this week and I don’t think the Bucs can muster enough points to keep it within the spread.

Bumping Uglies

Browns vs Lions

Talk about scalpers night off. This game is awesome in the sense that the winner is the loser in 2010 draft. Unless there is a tie, somebody is going to have 2 wins on the season. I thought the Bucs were the worst team in the NFL, but my opinion is shifting to the Browns. The Lions are giving up 3.5 points and I think their record of 1-8 is far superior than the Browns’ record of 1-8. I know doesn’t make sense, but it does.

The Forehead is Defeated

Colts vs Ravens

The undefeated Colts and Peyton’s forehead got lucky last week and if it wasn’t for Hoodie being scared of the forehead the Patriots probably win that game. If the Colts were a cat, I’d say the 9 lives are up. The Ravens are giving 1 point and it won’t matter, because crazy Ray Lewis and company will shut down the Colts. The forehead loses his first game of the season.

The Revenge Game

Jets vs Patriots

Ass Kicking = 4th and 2 + 9 -16 week 2 loss to the Jets. Hoodie is over 4th and 2, he will run up the score, so he’s not in that position again. Oh yeah and he doesn’t like the Jets. Mark “Dirty” Sanchez was being touted as Joe Namath with his quick 3-0 start, but reality has set in and the 4-5 Jets are a decent team at best. These teams are heading in different directions and the Brady bunch just might drop 50 on the Jets.

Chargers vs Broncos

This game is off the boards and there is not line, but I hate the Broncos and I hope the Chargers kick their ass and Josh McDaniels wipes that smug look off his face.
