This weekend there are 3 great match ups, 7 solid teams and 1 fat girl that got in the party. I’m not picking the fat girl and you shouldn’t either. Below are some thoughts on this week’s marque match up.

NY Jets vs New England Patriots

Armageddon is upon, please go repent. The game can’t possibly live up to all the hype leading up to the game. It turns out Antonio Cromartie hates Tom Brady and thinks he’s an ass. It’s personal for Rex Ryan and it’s horrible I can’t shake the thought of foot of fetish when I hear it’s personal.

Point spread: Patriots -9

The Jets were 6 – 2 on the road this season, which is good, but the Patriots were 8 – 0 this season at home. Weather should play too much into the game, it’s going to be cold, but that’s about it.

This game is going to come down to 2 simple things for the Jets.

1. Can the Revis and Cromartie defend Wes Welker and Patriots’ passing attack? This is why the Jets traded for Cromartie and signed Revis to the big contract, so they will get a chance to prove their worth.

2. Can Greene and Tomlinson run the ball effectively to keep Brady off the field? Tomlinson has faded or disappeared in the playoffs for what seems like forever. You have to think this is his last real chance to the shake the label.

I don’t like anything Boston, but the Jets have no shot at winning this game. Bill Belichick had the bye week to prepare and he’s the best game planner in the NFL. Tom Brady is the best QB of his generation, he’s clutch and a winner. As much as I’d like to the see the Jets move on, I don’t see it happening.

Taking the Patriots -9, hoping for an upset.
